HydroSpeed Suits are comprised of Scalex fabric, which is designed specifically for competition to help swimmers achieve their top level of performance. With a HydroSpeed suit, you will experience greater mobility and comfort, gain better control and be more body-aware while you compete.

HydroSpeed Scalex Fabric which was developed to address the growing need for a custom, aquatic-specific fabric that allows for keen awareness of body movement and flexibility, yet sacrifices nothing when it comes to speed. Scalex material is hollow-core, which allows for less water absorption and makes HydroSpeed suits lighter and faster. A high-density knit of thinly stretched polyester (82%) and Lycra (18%) allows for a higher thread count, making the suit comfortable to wear. An embossed, scale-like finish and additional water-repellant characteristics further reduce drag for increased speed.

Note: HydroSpeed swimwear is true to size and does not require scaling down to a competitive fit. All swimsuits are automatically one size smaller. For example, if you typically train in a size 28 and race in a size 26, you should select a HydroSpeed size 28.
